Active Grille Shutter Actuators
SRLine active grille shutter actuators manage airflow through grille shutter vanes, reducing aerodynamic drag and enhancing fuel efficiency. When the shutters are open, they allow air to pass through the radiator into the engine bay, improving cooling performance. When cooling airflow is not required, the shutters close, redirecting air around the vehicle to reduce drag and lower fuel consumption. When fully closed, this aerodynamic optimization can reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 2%. Additionally, SRLine actuators keep the shutters closed as long as possible during cold starts, allowing the engine to reach optimal operating temperature more quickly.
SRLine active grille shutter actuators are designed for long-lasting and maintenance-free operation, utilizing OE-compliant manufacturing technology and undergoing individual functional testing after production to ensure reliability and performance.
