Brake system
Both brake pads and brake discs are consumables that wear out in everyday driving. The operation of the brake system is associated with high friction and very high temperatures, which over time lead to surface wear, and additional factors such as overheating due to strong braking or contamination between the lining and the disc (salt, sand) can accelerate the process. This concerns to brake pads of all manufacturers.
The "lifetime" of car brake components is influenced by many factors, e.g. the environment in which we move (city, expressways), driving style, the vehicle type (car weight, braking system) and the type of brake pad friction mixture.
SRLine brakes are designed primarily with safety in mind, as ensuring safety is the main task of the car's braking system. The comfort aspect is not left out of the SRLine brakes. We made sure that the brakes did not cause any problems during everyday use and that their service life was as long as possible considering their effectiveness.
SRLine brakes are safe, operate quietly and easy to install. The high-quality components of SRLine braking systems include:
- brake pads and discs,
- brake shoes and drums,
- brake cylinders.
- damping pads (shims) to absorb vibrations and thus noise,
- mounting plates with the pattern of original blocks.
Additionally, wear sensors are included in many of the brake pad sets offered. From manufacturers of other brands, you need to buy them separately.
All SRLine brake discs that leave the factory are checked for dimensions, side runout value control and hole spacing. Both the pads and discs have ECE R90 approval, IATF 16949: 2016 certificate.
Pay attention to what your car "says" (through signals from sensors or mechanic's recommendations) and replace the brake system elements with new ones whenever necessary. Use the safe brakes of SRLine with confidence.
